LEGAL NOTICE ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE PLEASANTVILLE FIRE DISTRICT On December 8, 2009 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Pleasantville Fire District will take place on December 8, 2009 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at Pleasantville Fire Headquarters located at 75 Washington Avenue, Pleasantville, New York for the purposes of: (A) electing one Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2010 and ending December 31, 2014; and, electing one Commissioner for the unexpired two (2) year portion of a term, commencing January 1, 2010 and ending December 31, 2011.
Candidates for District Office shall have filed their names with the Secretary of the Pleasantville Fire District, at Fire Headquarters at 75 Washington Avenue, Pleasantville, New York no later than twenty days before the election, that is by November 18, 2009. All voters registered with the Westchester County Board of Elections on or before November 16, 2009 shall be eligible to vote.
